Employer Matching Donations Opportunities


Double Your Impact Through Matching Donations!

An easy way to increase the impact of your donation to Macfarlane Park IB School PTA is to have your employer match it.  Thousands of companies have Matching Gift Programs that will double, or even triple, individual tax-deductible contributions made by their employees.  Chances are if you work for a big company, they have a charitable donations matching program.   Some companies may even match donations made by spouses or retirees.    

Participation is Simple!

First, contact your employer's HR department to find out if they support a Matching Gift Program.  Second, ask them to send you a matching gift form. While you're at it, ask them to send multiple copies of the form so that next time you send in even a small donation, you can double it with a matching contribution from your employer.  If you have copies of the form handy, you are more likely to remember to send one in.   Finally, just fill out the form, sign it and send it to us with your contribution and we'll do the rest!

The list provided is just a sample list based on national companies identified as having matching gift programs last year and may be missing many of our generous local companies with matching gift programs.   If your company is not listed, please check with your employer to see if they will match your contribution.  If your company does match nonprofit contributions, and does not appear on the list, please let us know.

 A Registered Non-Profit

The MacFarlane Park PTA is a not-for-profit organization operating under Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code.   We have received a group exemption granted by the Florida PTA. As a registered 501(c)3 organization we are exempted from paying federal income tax on money earned from our fundraising programs. This exemption is also extended to any donors who may wish to deduct contributions to the MacFarlane Park PTA. Please consult a tax professional for further details about donor deductions.
