The MacFarlane Park PTA Academic Olympics* is our primary fundraiser each year. 

Your generous donations support the PTA's efforts to contribute to academic success, wellness and personal character development that is the heart of our amazing school.

Your PTA provides financial and organizational support to our school administration and staff.  We also work together with parents, administrators, staff, and community leaders to facilitate educational, enrichment, and wellness programs and to provide community-building events.

What is the Academic Olympics and How Does it Work?

The Academic Olympics Fundraiser is an in-house PTA Fundraiser - we keep 100% of the proceeds.  It is based on a sponsorship program with different prize levels.  Students seek sponsors to donate to their school and they pledge to study for the Academic Olympics test.   Sponsors are supporting the many programs and services the PTA provides to the school, as well as showing encouragement for the academic achievement of their sponsored student. This is “educational” fundraising! 
No catalogs, wrapping paper or other items to sell or buy.

To help inspire our students and build spirit, we provide various prize drawings.  New this year, every student who takes the Academic Olympics test will receive a Brag Tag.  The Brag Tags are a new student academic and character reward program this year, sponsored by your PTA!
